IMAA in the News

• IMAA’s annual event to commemorate World Refugee Day takes place Saturday, June 4th, 2016.  Walk Around the World features cultural exhibits, art, dance, music and singing from around the globe.  Attendees took away bookmarks, henna tattoos and new knowledge; but most importantly, they also shared smiles, appreciation and joy for the richness refugees bring to our community.

• Hard work and dedication help former IMAA client Phala Nhean prosper in the restaurant business. Grab a meal at Wong’s Cafe sometime soon!  Watch the clip here.

• Local ethnic stores fill a niche for immigrant and refugee families seeking tastes from home and benefit many an adventurous palate.  Click here for the story.
